There was no flyer in the Atlanta AJC on 6/29 and no answer when calling the store. Not a good way to get customers in the doors. Was thinking about paying you a visit but with this kind of customer service and lack of coordination and attention, I’m not sure it’s worth the bother. I have too many other options available to me.
Regards,
Scott
P.S. - You might want to make the online coupons valid at your stores instead of having to have the newspaper ad…lots easier.

Scott,
Thanks for the feedback. I agree that we can and should do better on this area.

I have now wasted 4 dollars on newspapers looking for your coupons. You might want to update you site for Dallas morning news since it wasn’t in my Sunday paper or Wednesday paper. Are you actually running ads or not?

Yup, sorry. There’s nothing in the racks — only in home delivery and the Weds mailer that they do to all households in Dallas. I’ve updated the website. MG

Neither edition 6/29/08 or 7/2/08 of the Dallas Morning News had your coupons. I will not visit your store w/out, please advise.

I have a real problem with the wordingon your coupons. Coupon says, ” Limit one coupon per family per season. Alamo coupon good June 24th till midenite July 4th, 2008. While Quantities Last!” I went to the megastore and was told that only one item was honored per coupon. Now, your coupon doesn’t state a limit and the wording may be interpreted such that I can only redeem one coupon per season per item but without specifying any limit, I interpreted that the coupon would apply to as many of that item as I wanted to purchase. Minor setback, I’ll revamp my wish list but the coupon could be more specific and precise.

Jeremy: Look for the coupons in the home delivery or by mail today. We didn’t do racks - that was a mistake.

Carey: This is the way we’ve done it all along. A coupon (like a grocery store coupon) gives you a special price on one item. When you get the $1 a box of Corn Flakes, it works the same way. So, you can’t use the coupon more than once: One coupon per family.

Well, Admin, despite what you may have done in the past with regards to coupons, that doesn’t mean change cannot occur. I believe if you cared to examine the coupon from many angles you would discover that coupons often encompass purchasing multiple items using the same coupon, as with an eating establishment. You can’t be too close-minded on these things or they can come back to bite you in your $1 Corn Flakes.

I believe you are asking us to allow you to use a coupon that says Buy 1 Get 1 Free One Coupon Per Family Per Season more than one time per family per season. I hope you can see that’s not really practical as we have to limit the great deals that are the coupon to one per customer, otherwise we’d run out of those deals for everyone. I’m sorry we can’t get an understanding on this.

Let me see if I come to an understanding on this; Your advertisement allows me, without utilizing a coupon, to purchase “All Big Shot Firecrackers Buy 1 Get 3 FREE, but I can only get one item per coupon at Buy 1 Get 1? I did the math and I see that I can purchase 1 Big Shot 2000 Big Shot Flash Crackers Item #10 for $15.00 and get 3 free. That equates to the purchase of 8,000 Flash Crackers for $15.00 or $0.001875 each. The REAL economic sense tells me to buy mass quantities of your Flash Crackers and shop around for better deals. Since we are at odds with coming to an understanding, I think you should allow this message to remain for all your ‘potential’ customers to read so that they may understand, too. After all, do you not want to maximize your sales of Big Shot Flash Crackers?

Carey, we have a special deal on the 20/12 big shot brick with the coupon for a $1 with no buy 1 get x free deal. So, yes you’re correct and you’re welcome to buy all the Big Shot crackers at Buy 1 Get x free price without coupon you want. I’m leaving the post up, no problem! MG
